Instructions: Read Ch. 21 of the textbook and do a close reading of the article by W.E.B DuBois (Ch. 21, #5 “Returning Soldiers”). Answer the following: Why do you think DuBois felt compelled to write this article? What do you think he hoped it would accomplish?
