In today’s competitive business world, customer satisfaction is a key index of an effective, healthy organization. Organizations with strong customer satisfaction generate higher profits as well as greater employee satisfaction, customer loyalty, and repeat business. Customer satisfaction gives an organization a competitive advantage against its competitors. When employees work in a positive social environment and have the resources to do their job, customers are more satisfied, which in turn, increases revenues, often creating a stronger market value.
Customer satisfaction surveys serve as important tools for organizations to track return on investment and employee job satisfaction. Moreover, customer satisfaction is known to predict the health status of an organization’s culture. By linking customer satisfaction data with job satisfaction and organizational performance goals, organizations can readily adapt to changing or unforeseen business conditions and maintain its success in a global economy.
For this task, imagine that your organization is considering efforts to abandon its mall kiosk sales operations of skin care products, and to transform them into an exclusive e-commerce model, whereby customers would order all products and services online. However, senior leaders question the organization’s ability to retain and improve customer’s loyalty for this product, and the amount of time needed to build long lasting customer relationships.
For this task, prepare a PowerPoint presentation for management that includes a proposal to use a customer satisfaction survey to address management’s questions. As part of your presentation, include a draft of a possible survey the organization could use.
Incorporate appropriate animations, transitions, and graphics as well as “speaker notes” for each slide. The speaker notes may be comprised of brief paragraphs or bulleted lists.
