JOURNAL VIDEO – You will be completing Journal Videos and written journals as a way of reflecting what you see, do, and develop. Make sure you have a commentary that focuses on the components of the Conceptual Framework and be sure that you are addressing any workshops you have attended to date, along with what is happening in the real world around education. For mid-term, there will be one (1) video journal and two (2) typed written journals. For the final, there will be one (1) video journal and two (2) typed journals. Focus on our new world and not the past. The journal video should be no less than 2 minutes and no more than 5 minutes.
Note: This assignment is a 2 written typed journal reflection. I already did the 5 minutes video reflection portion.
The journal reflection should be 2 written typed… each should be 1 and half page.
For the first journal: You can include the challenges of being a former grade 8 teacher compared to being a grade 12 internship teacher. Talk about how the Mentor teacher introduced me to the regular routine for the students, 10 minutes Silent Reading, writing Now activity (making the student write short explanation on the chapters they read in the book)
2nd Journal
This part should be based on challenges and experience. Also, it should explain that Mentor teacher introduced Student teacher (Me) to the textbook for the quarter, Born a Crime, students work on each chapters, Information poster was introduced were students were given a poster to work on each character in the book and write Information about the characters, quiz was conducted from chapter 1 – 5.
