You will submit a paper analyzing a particular correctional policy issue. You are expected to critically analyze and evaluate a corrections policy issue covered in the textbook. Guidelines and rubric will be posted on D2L soon. The corrections policy analysis paper will be about 8 pages. The paper is worth 16% of your overall course grade. The purpose of this project is to demonstrate what you have learned throughout this entire course (practical knowledge, theoretical understanding, critical thinking skills, and intellectual curiosity), identify a specific corrections research question that interests you, and then apply and analyze it.
